Audiosurf is selling for only 2.5$ on Steam this week, and I’ve just purchased it.

Google tells us that

2.5 U.S. dollars = 9.59000798 Israeli shekels

I’ve spent more than that on a bottle of coke.

And just in case you don’t know, Audiosurf is a rythem game where you can play your own songs. I’ve already played some Metallica, System of a Down, Rodrigo y Gabriela (check my previous post), Extreme and Infected Mushroom’s Becoming Inasne. This game’s a riot.

Do it.

First, do yourselves a favor and check these out.

Now that that’s out of the way, we can talk about Valve and how awesome they are.

They’ll be introducing Steam Cloud pretty soon. This next bit is stolen from Rock Paper Shotgun:

Steam Cloud is a feature for Steam which, when implemented, allows players to store their save games and game configurations on Steam’s servers, rather than their own computers. With Steam you can access your games from any computer, so long as you’ve bought them on your account, but you’d have to start the game from scratch or carry your saves around with you. So the idea is, with your saves and configs stored on Steam, you can just pick up and carry on whichever computer you use.
